The Triumph of Snobbery

The founder of a small boutique enterprise that is a purveyor of gourmet pralines, aims to market its products to a specific group of connoisseurs that appreciate quality, who have a mindset of opulence and sophistication and are willing to pay a high-end market price. The Gourmet by Emmanuel products communicates four fascinations: Sophistication, Exclusivity, Xenodochy and Indulgence.

The challenge was to make sure that creator’s persona is very evident in the brand. The identity idea uses a square shape of pralines combined with a simplified symbol of scales of justice (outlining creator’s professional background as an attorney) into elegant, masculine guild emblem.
